Santa Lucia LFR

Santa Lucia LFR

Like a multi-ethnic gathering of friends, this seven member band has created a sound that evokes the early days of Latin Rock (Santana, War, etc.), while adding their own blend of Funk grooves. Lead by Nicaraguan frontman German Cantillo the band has an addictive combination of Nuyorican Boogaloo, West Coast Funk and the ever present Cuban grooves engulfing the stage with monstrous horns and bass, funky breaks with furious lyrics in English and Spanish.

Beyond Land

Beyond Land Logo

Beyond Land Logo

Beyond Land is a powerhouse band that thrives on energetic improvisation, adding their own grooves to renowned pop and rock covers from the 90’s onward as well as original dance-floor heating tunes.

The band formed in June 2016 when guitarist / singer / songwriter Felipe Magalhães joined guitarist Alex Schroeder, bassist Brett Selinger and drummer Josh Mac; a power trio that had been playing at local open mics. After joining forces at the open mic, they got together for a series of jam sessions where they vamped cover songs on the fly, and a strong foundation for this four-piece band was established. The solid groove and power of the trio blended to Felipe’s passionate singing and guitar-playing style, bringing a distinct latin feel to their songs.

Now Beyond Land focuses the energy of those jam sessions into their music to connect with the people. A hip selection of sing-along rock tunes seasoned with their original songs, leading them through a vibrant night of dance and good times which will set the perfect atmosphere for a fun night out.
